Checkerboard Placemat With Helen
In this class, there are two options: 5 x 7 larger squares in the center of the placemat for beginning sewists or 8 x 12 smaller squares for the advanced sewists. You will learn a technique to sew a checkerboard quickly, adding borders, stitch in the ditch quilting, and machine finished bindings. You should have time to finish one placemat in class. Both options result in a generous 13 x 18 placemat.
