Embroidery Class for owners of Baby Lock Altair, Meridian, Solaris and Brother XJ1, XE1, Luminaire purchased at Dublin Sewing Center
In this class we will cover the Embroidery operations of the Top-of- the-Line Baby Lock and Brother embroidery machines.
What will be discussed in this class:
Accessories that come with the machines to assist with Embroidery.
Bobbin Cases.
Types of Embroidery thread and Bobbin thread.
Types of Stabilizers.
Hooping options.
Setting Screen pages that deal with Embroidery settings.
Importing designs from a USB drive.
How to use Built in Designs, Text, Design Placement, Editing Tools, and Scanning fabric in the hoop.
For Solaris and Luminaire owners we will cover the Projector function.
We will go over the basics of IQ Designer and My Design Center in this class.
PLEASE NOTE: If you own the Baby Lock Altair, Meridian OR Brother XE1, XJ1 machines, you must load the the phone apps for IQ or My Design Center on your phones before bringing them to class.
Please bring the following items to class:
Sewing machine, embroidery unit, scanning tray, manuals, embroidery foot, all accessories, foot pedal, power cord, 5x7 hoop, embroidery thread, pre-wound bobbins, empty bobbins, scissors, paper/pen for note taking.
There will be a 30 minute lunch break.
Class Size: Maximum is 4 students.
